Image-Guided Procedures Board-Certified Specialists Same-Week Appointments

Comprehensive Pain Evaluation & Treatment

Our pain management physicians focus on the cause of your pain—not just the symptoms. We use imaging and a detailed history and exam to design a plan that can include injections, nerve blocks, medication guidance, and coordination with physical therapy or spine surgery when needed.

Evaluation & Diagnosis

Thorough history, physical exam, and imaging when needed to identify the source of your pain and rule out serious conditions. We explain our findings in plain language so you understand your options.

Image-Guided Injections

Epidurals, facet blocks, nerve blocks, and other procedures performed with fluoroscopy or ultrasound for accuracy and safety. We use these to reduce inflammation and pain and support rehabilitation.

Coordinated Care

We work with our spine surgeons, chiropractors, and physical therapists so your plan is consistent. When surgery or PT is part of your path, we coordinate referrals and follow-up.

What to Expect

Your first appointment includes a detailed discussion of your pain, medical history, and prior treatments, plus a physical exam. We may order or review imaging. Then we recommend a treatment plan—which might include a procedure, medication, PT, or a combination—and schedule follow-up. Procedures are done in our offices with local anesthesia; we explain each step and what to expect afterward.

What Is Pain Management?

Pain management is a medical specialty focused on diagnosing and treating chronic or complex pain. Unlike simply prescribing pills, pain specialists use a full toolkit: evaluation, imaging, injections (e.g., epidural steroid injections, facet blocks, nerve blocks), radiofrequency ablation, medication management, and coordination with physical therapy, chiropractic, or spine surgery. The goal is to reduce pain, improve function, and help you get back to the activities that matter to you.

Conditions We Treat

We commonly treat back and neck pain, sciatica, spinal stenosis, arthritis-related pain, failed back surgery syndrome, nerve pain, and pain from injury or overuse. We also evaluate patients whose pain hasn’t improved with primary care or who want a second opinion before considering surgery. Not every problem needs an injection—we recommend the least invasive option that fits your condition and goals.

Our Approach

We believe in clear communication and evidence-based care. Your plan is tailored to your diagnosis, lifestyle, and preferences. We use image-guided procedures when they’re likely to help, and we combine them with rehab, activity modification, and medication when appropriate. We also work closely with your other doctors so your care is consistent and you’re not left navigating conflicting advice alone.

When to See a Pain Specialist

Consider seeing a pain management specialist if your pain has lasted more than a few weeks, limits your daily activities, or hasn’t improved with rest and over-the-counter options. You may also be referred by your primary care doctor or surgeon. We’re here to clarify the cause of your pain and outline options—from conservative care to injections to coordination with surgery—so you can make an informed decision.

Procedures and Safety

Our injections and nerve blocks are performed with fluoroscopy or ultrasound guidance to improve accuracy and reduce risk. We use sterile technique and local anesthesia; many procedures take only a few minutes. You’ll get after-care instructions and we’ll schedule follow-up to see how you’re doing. We’ll also explain any limits on driving or activity the day of the procedure.
