Minimally Invasive Focus Board-Certified Surgeons Full Care Team

Spine Surgery Tailored to Your Condition

Our orthopedic spine surgeons evaluate and treat herniated discs, spinal stenosis, instability, deformity, and other conditions that haven’t improved with conservative care. We use advanced imaging and a clear discussion of risks and benefits so you can make an informed decision.

Minimally Invasive Techniques

Microdiscectomy, laminectomy, and other procedures using smaller incisions and specialized tools to reduce recovery time and scarring when appropriate.

Fusion & Motion Preservation

When fusion is needed for stability, we use modern techniques. We also offer motion-preserving options where they’re a good fit for your condition.

Coordinated Recovery

From pre-op through surgery and rehab, we work with our pain and PT teams so your recovery plan is clear and consistent.

What to Expect

Your first visit is a consultation: we review your history, imaging, and prior treatments and discuss whether surgery is appropriate and which procedure fits best. We explain risks, benefits, and recovery expectations. If you decide to proceed, we schedule surgery and coordinate with our team for pre-op and post-op care, including physical therapy when needed.

When Is Spine Surgery Considered?

Spine surgery is typically considered when pain or nerve symptoms haven’t improved with conservative care (physical therapy, injections, medication) or when there’s instability, progressive weakness, or other serious findings. Not every back or neck problem needs surgery—we recommend it only when the benefits outweigh the risks and when you’re ready to commit to recovery and rehab.

Conditions We Treat

We treat herniated discs, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, degenerative disc disease, and other conditions that cause nerve compression or spinal instability. We also evaluate failed back surgery and revision options. Each patient is different; we tailor the recommendation to your imaging, symptoms, and goals.

Minimally Invasive vs. Open Surgery

Minimally invasive techniques use smaller incisions and specialized instruments to reach the spine with less disruption to muscle and tissue. That can mean less pain after surgery and a faster return to activity in many cases. Not every condition can be treated minimally invasively; we’ll explain which approach is right for you and why.

Recovery and Rehabilitation

Recovery depends on the procedure. We give you clear instructions for activity, driving, and work. Physical therapy is often part of the plan to restore strength and mobility. Our team coordinates your follow-up and PT so you have one clear path from surgery to full recovery.
