Foot and ankle care for pain, mobility, and structure—from conservative treatment and orthotics to wound care and surgery when needed. Our podiatrists work with the rest of the PPSI team so your care is coordinated and your recovery is clear.
We treat foot and ankle pain, structural problems, diabetic foot care, and sports-related injuries. Care may include orthotics, bracing, wound care, injections, and PT—or surgery when appropriate—with coordination across the PPSI team.
Detailed history and exam, plus X-ray or other imaging when needed to diagnose foot and ankle conditions and plan treatment.
Orthotics, bracing, wound care, injections, and physical therapy to reduce pain and improve function before considering surgery.
When surgery is needed, we coordinate with pain management and rehab so your recovery is supported across the PPSI team.
Your first visit includes a history and exam of your foot and ankle; we may order or review imaging. We then recommend a plan—often starting with conservative care (orthotics, PT, or injections) and considering surgery only when it’s the right next step. We explain your options so you can make an informed decision. When your condition overlaps with back or joint care, we coordinate with our pain and spine teams.
Comfortable, professional setting for your foot and ankle evaluation and treatment.
Podiatry focuses on the foot and ankle: pain, structure, skin and nail conditions, wounds, and diabetic foot care. Podiatrists evaluate, order imaging when needed, and treat with conservative care (orthotics, bracing, wound care, injections, PT) or surgery when appropriate. At PPSI, podiatry is part of a larger team so when your foot or ankle problem overlaps with spine or pain issues, your care stays coordinated.
We treat heel pain (plantar fasciitis), bunions, hammertoes, ankle sprains and instability, diabetic foot care and ulcers, nail and skin conditions, and sports-related foot and ankle injuries. We also evaluate patients whose walking or balance is affected by foot pain and coordinate with our PT or pain team when that’s helpful.
We start with the least invasive option that fits your condition: rest, orthotics, bracing, PT, or injections. When surgery is the right choice, we explain the procedure and recovery and coordinate with our pain and rehab teams so your aftercare is clear and consistent.
Consider a podiatry visit when you have persistent foot or ankle pain, difficulty walking, wounds or ulcers (especially if you have diabetes), or structural problems like bunions or hammertoes that limit your activities. Early evaluation can prevent problems from worsening and get you on a clear treatment path.
If you have diabetes, foot care is important to prevent ulcers and complications. We provide routine foot exams, wound care, and education on daily care and when to seek help. We coordinate with your primary care or endocrinologist when needed so your overall diabetes care stays aligned.
Foot and ankle care within a full team: pain management, spine, and rehabilitation under one roof so your care is coordinated.
When foot or ankle issues overlap with back or joint care, we coordinate with our pain, spine, and PT teams.
We recommend the right level of care for your condition and explain when surgery is or isn’t appropriate.
